Strong mid-level winds (40-50 knots shear) are aligning perpendicular to the boundary, favoring clusters and supercells. This setup promises damaging straight-line winds (55-70 mph) from robust downdrafts, hail up to 1.25 inches, and even tornadoes (EF1-EF2, 85-110 mph) if supercells persist.
