The Storm Prediction Center has issued Mesoscale Discussion 1829, highlighting a stalled low-level boundary as the focal point for storm development between 7-9 PM CDT. Steep mid-level lapse rates, moderate instability, and robust wind support—including 50-70 kt at 500 mb—are aligning to favor organized storms capable of large hail and rotation.
